How Our Interior Design Process Unfolds
1. Initial Consultation:
To embark on this exciting journey, start by completing our design questionnaire linked at the bottom of this page. Within 48 hours, we'll connect for a phone call to explore your project and introduce our process and fees. If we're aligned in moving forward, we'll arrange a one-hour in-person meeting at your home. This session allows us to grasp the project's scope, work involved, timeframe, budget, and address any queries. To proceed, a nonrefundable $150 consultation fee is collected upfront.
2. Select Your Package:
With a solid understanding of your aspirations, we'll discuss what's most for your needs. Once the Design Agreement is endorsed and the retainer is secured, we'll dive into the specifics. This involves taking precise measurements of your space, liaising with your builder and architect if necessary, and setting up timelines.
3. Design & Unveil:
With measurements and your vision in mind, the creative process takes flight. After about three weeks, we'll arrange a Design Presentation at my home office. This is when you'll see your design vision come to life. We'll share an Order Guide with cost estimates for each element. Over the subsequent week, we'll finalize any notes, tweaks, or re-selections you'd like to make.
4. Order & Transform:
With the approved Design Plan and any adjustments finalized, the next steps depend on your chosen Service Package:

If you opt for the 'Discovery' Design Plan, a comprehensive design package with be provided to you, and you're ready to take on the renovation at your pace.

Alternatively, if you select our full-service 'Synthesis' option, we'll take the reins. We'll collaborate closely with you and your builder/tradespeople, ensuring they're equipped with the Build Binder that contains all essential details and instructions. After a retainer is collected, the process of ordering items kicks off, ensuring timely delivery to our receiver. Items are carefully inspected and stored until installation day. Our goal is to make design seamless, letting you savor the journey.
5. Culmination & Enjoyment:
The climax of your efforts arrives as everything seamlessly converges. Furniture is delivered by our trusted receiving company and their skilled delivery team. The installation process brings together all design elements, transforming your space. Sit back and relish the beauty of your newly designed home, a testament to collaboration, creativity, and your unique taste.
